A day's itinerary may include a tour of a selected winery, a personal conversation with the wine maker, a tour and picnic in the vineyards sampling wines just described by the wine maker, a tasting tour of an organic vegetable garden or a dinner for which the menu is carefully designed to demonstrate the best of food and wine pairing. In addition to specialized tours, guest services may include arrangements for lodging and transportation, restaurant recommendations and bookings, or planning and scheduling recreational activities in the California wine country.
ABOUT JESSE SHAW
Jesse D. Shaw is owner and president of J. Shaw & Company. He created J. Shaw
& Company because of his long-held interests in wine and food and his desire to share
his passion. Jesse has trained, over the past two decades, with private and public cooking
schools, including the École de Cuisine La Varenne in Paris, U C Berkeley
Extension and Tante Marie in San Francisco. He has studied wine making and wine
appreciation at the Académie du Vin in Paris, at UC Davis, and at UC
